Certificate Course In The Fine & Decorative Arts
This course aims to stimulate and encourage an interest in the Fine & Decorative Arts in a friendly and relaxed atmosphere.
It is specifically designed for those without previous educational qualifications in this area. The emphasis of the course is on the identification and appreciation of Art and Decorative Art objects in their historical context.
The Certificate course is a condensed version of the in depth Diploma course in which lecturers give a broad introduction to the various subject.
The Course
The course runs over three terms coinciding with the academic year.
Lecturers are held on Tuesday evenings from 6.30pm – 9.30pm at IPAV Headquarters 129 Lower Baggot Street Dublin 2.
Course information is imparted by means of PowerPoint and slide lectures.
