A Qualification In The Fine And Decorative Arts
While the recent economic downturn showed that many forms of investments are liable to severe reduction, sound and well-informed investments in the world of fine and decorative arts continue to retain their value. And they will inevitably continue to increase in value as they have done down through the centuries.
Many people continue to turn to the world of fine arts for security where a love of a hobby can also be financially beneficial.
For over twenty five years, the Institute of Professional Auctioneers & Valuers has been running Diploma and Certificate courses in the Fine & Decorative Arts at its Head Office on Dublin’s Baggot St.
Both courses are organised in association with the Irish Antique Dealers Association. No educational background in this area is required other than a love of the fine arts.
‘The Irish Antique Dealers Association is very proud to be associated with both these courses. Indeed many of the former students are now working in the antique trade’.
George Stackpoole, President Irish Antique Dealers’ Association
